Google is bringing Beam, its 3D video conferencing tech, to deployed service members

Google has teamed up with the United Service Organizations (USO) to help deployed service members stay in touch with their families in a different way. As part of a pilot program, the company is bringing Google Beam, its 3D video communication tech, to USO service centers in the US and other countries starting in 2026.Google suggests that Beam can help military families who are separated by many miles feel like they are in the same room.
