The updated Z95B comes in three sizes and promises even better performance.

Panasonic

Panasonic has revealed its flagship Z95B OLED TV will come in three sizes up to 77 inches and promises improved picture and sound quality.

The Panasonic Z95A OLED surprised us when it came out in 2024 after an eight year gap since the company's last US TV. While it was a solid TV, it did cost more than the competition and only came in a 65-inch size.

The new 4K Z95B will come in 55, 65 and 77 inches, and includes a number of upgrades, including a "next-generation Primary RGB Tandem Panel" and a new cooling system for better brightness, contrast and color. The company says this new panel configuration improves light efficiency by 40% and has a "significant increase" in brightness.

The onboard Dolby Atmos speaker system has also been tweaked, with a design that looks to emphasize that this is both a TV and a speaker, and includes a new line array and impoved upfiring drivers.

For gamers, the TV includes AMD FreeSync Premium, Nvidia G-Sync and 144Hz refresh rate support, plus a True Game Mode.  Video features include the HCX Pro AI Processor MK II and Dolby Vision IQ with Precision Detail.

Like the Z95A, the TV features the Fire TV interface onboard for all of your streaming and virtual assistant needs, plus it has Prime Video Calibrated Mode onboard.

Pricing and availability of the Z95B series is yet to be announced, but given that the Z95A arrived in September, I anticipate another fall release. Expect around $3,500 for the 65-inch version, based on the previous model.
